WonderSphere, Chamberlain Square

Come and join Birmingham artist Will Douglas, AKA Tat Vision for a fun, early years workshop combining nature with recycled fabrics to make colourful and vibrant costumes.

This session is specially for children under 12 and their families.

Please note, materials are supplied.

Tat Vision uses a sense of nostalgia and play to bring out the inner child of those viewing or being part of the artwork. He uses a variety of mediums including papier mache, felt tip pens, video, second hand items and more. Tat Vision believes in the hand made touch with rough around the edges aesthetic but visible hard work and joy coming out of each piece. Tat Vision's work has been on Sky Arts in a Cold War Steve documentary, has created several stage shows held at the Glee Club and also has produced a stage show for Flatpack Film Festival. Lately, Tat Vision was the star of a short film by Joe Lycett and has created a public art piece on based off workshops for children which generated ideas from their experiences of places of play.
